What a relief after 24 months of gestation. Phewwww! Not quite as far a drop as a giraffe but the little Dumbo is quite a bit heavier and makes a bigger splash, not to mention the flood of amniotic fluid. Ewwww!
This is really an amazing birth and it shows you how mama elephant gets her baby to respond after being born. Have you ever seen a birth of a baby elephant before? Here it is...Quite amazing.
